This Nonfiction is a boon for the modern generation struggling at work. The author has given his insights into workplace management with research in psychology, management, business, and philosophy. Not just for employees; the book also provides suggestions for employers and managerial position holders to create a good working environment.




The activity at the end of each chapter makes the book exciting and allows us to reflect on our own experiences at work. I loved how there was an exclusive activity-based chapter towards the end. The data and statistics provided a clearer vision. To top it off, interviews from famous personalities like Harish Bhat (chairman of Tata coffee ltd), Prasanth Nair (ex-IAS officer, Kerala), Dr. Anand Deshpande (founder, director and chairman of Persistent Systems) and Nitin Paranjpe (Unilever's chief operating officer) were inspiring and insightful.


I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking to improve performance at work and anyone with an idea for a startup because there is a lot of input about the same. This book may seem thick, but it glides off so smoothly and doesn't feel like Nonfiction at all.

Ahmed's parents were delighted and jumping with joy. They were chanting 'Alhamdulillah' fervently while Aliza stood confused. She could not make anything of this news because Ahmed's promotion meant everything to her. But his transfer would only mean that Aliza must stay back with her in-laws while he would visit only during weekends. She would happily do so, too, if not for her unsupportive mother-in-law.
