BOOK REVIEW
As the days keep sprinting towards the end of the year, so is my will to post reviews of the books I finished reading this year. Mansi Zaveri is the founder of the award-winning parenting platform kidstoppress.com. This book is an anthology of her tete-a-tete with the parents of personalities who made it big against all odds.
There can't be a parent who hasn't been overwhelmed by their methods of raising their kids at some point in their life. For most people, whether they should ever become a parent or not would remain a mystery. As much as it's a rewarding experience, parenthood also comes with its challenges.
This nonfiction is a saviour for those who find themselves in the above-mentioned situations. This book is a compilation of the parenting experiences of twenty-two celebrity parents and their pathbreaking journey. You get insights into the lives of your favourite personalities and advices based on their experiences, starting from Priyanka Chopra to P.V. Sindhu to Sushmita Sen and others. It was a fascinating read from parents managing their tantrums to adjusting to their child's sudden rise to fame.
From Priyanka Chopra's mother being a working parent to P.V. Sindhu's father opening up about his struggle to keep up with his hardworking daughter by waking early with her for her practice and more, the journey of these parents is inspiring. But my only complaint is that the stories are only from a celebrity background and may not largely reflect the social or working-class scenarios.
MY REVIEW: 4/5
