BLOGCHATTER A TO Z - THEME REVEAL
Here comes the big announcement for the most awaited Blogchatter A to Z challenge 2025. I have been waiting impatiently for this challenge to return but equally dreaded it because I had no ideas in hand. I tried to pen down several blogs based on books, authors, places, and material and immaterial things, but nothing sat down well with me. My last year’s A to Z challenge was a disaster because I could not complete it for several reasons. I didn't want to repeat it this year, so I was extremely cautious in choosing what to write.
But wait, what happened the year before that? Didn't I write a series story that ended well? It was something I loved writing and sharing with my fellow bloggers. I enjoyed the feedback that came with it, too. It was also the start of something significant in my life. So, the storyteller in me nudged me to draft a tale again, like in 2023. But what to write about? I have been working on many themes, and nothing is more than halfway done yet. So, I thought, why not give my old story a new lease of life again? Yes, that's right!
The series story I wrote in 2023 revolved around the lives of Aliza, Cyra, and Ahmed and their tangled relationships. It was a domestic fiction loosely based on the lives of women around me. But there were many characters in the story I couldn’t concentrate on owing to the scope of this challenge. So, this year, I am rewriting the story from Sara’s perspective - Aliza’s sister-in-law, who had a noticeably short stint in the former one. In the earlier version, Sara was just a brat teenager, appearing briefly in two to three chapters without significantly affecting the story. She might have come across as self-centred and arrogant based on the former version, but when you get to know her, you will understand the reason behind her behaviour. Because she has her own narrative to tell.
So, let me grab this opportunity to retell their lives from Sara’s perspective because every woman deserves to unleash her voice and be heard. Isn't it? And what can be more fulfilling than writing the story of a misunderstood woman? Are you excited for this spin-off? Because I really am.
